Desert Rose Florist Moves to Carefree Marketplace Shopping Center in Carefree

Desert Rose Florist has moved to the Carefree Marketplace,
36889 N. Tom Darlington Drive in Carefree, from their former location in Cave Creek.

The new, 1200 sq. ft. location features an expanded cash-and-carry flower and gift section. The florist will continue to offer delivery and custom arrangements for weddings, parties, bar mitzvahs, corporate events and everyday occasions.

Established in 2002, Desert Rose is a Teleflora florist and is open Monday through Saturday, 9am-5pm.
“Our larger location gives us the opportunity to provide our customers with more options,” said owner Carmen Thomas. “We can now combine gift items with floral arrangements for one-of-a-kind gifts in just minutes.”

New Bookstore at Stagecoach Village

OPENS IN CAVE CREEK’S STAGECOACH VILLAGE
Cave Creek, Ariz., (February 25, 2008) – Pages Bookstore featuring new, rare and antiquarian books, maps and documents will open in mid-March at Cave Creek’s Stagecoach Village.    The bookstore, the northeast Valley’s newest independent bookstore, will be open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm.    In addition to new books and rare books, Pages will host events throughout the year including author book signings, book appraisal fairs and a children’s story time reading hour.  An outdoor seating and reading area welcomes customers.

    Ideal for area residents and tourists alike is the special selection of books and authors, maps and documents of Arizona and the Southwest.

    Local residents and owners Sandi and Will Pearson are excited for the store to be a part of the community in which they have lived for more than ten years. “We have always believed in keeping business local,” Sandi Pearson said.

    Unique to Pages are its antiquarian and rare books, maps and documents. Items include John Muir’s first book on Yosemite and first edition Zane Grays. “We have a selection that will appeal to collectors from casual to serious, and each is hand-picked for our store,” said Will Pearson.

    Other featured services include special orders, gift wrapping, free hot coffee and tea and a large selection of gift items.
